1. Services Provided
Part 6 Building Surveyors provides professional building surveying and compliance services including, but not limited to:

• Building compliance assessments

• Essential Safety Measures (ESM) certification

• Fire safety compliance and reporting

• Performance Solutions and NCC advisory services

• Maintenance determinations

• Pool safety certification

• Town planning advice and consultation

All services are delivered in accordance with the National Construction Code (NCC), Victorian Building Regulations, and relevant Australian Standards.

2. Professional Advice
All advice, reports, and certification provided by Part 6 Building Surveyors are based on information supplied by the client and site inspections conducted at the time of assessment.
We do not accept responsibility for:

• Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by third parties

• Changes to site conditions after inspection

• Works completed without approval or outside scope of certification

 
3. Compliance Responsibility
While we provide expert guidance and certification services, ultimate responsibility for maintaining building compliance remains with the property owner, developer, or building manager.
Clients must ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and maintenance requirements.
 
4. Fees & Payment
All fees for services will be agreed upon prior to commencement of work. Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment terms.
Failure to make payment may result in:

• Suspension of services

• Delay in certification or reporting

• Additional administrative charges

 
5. Inspections & Access
Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to all areas required for inspection. Delays caused by restricted access may incur additional charges or rescheduling fees.
 
6. Reports & Certification
All reports, certifications, and determinations issued by Part 6 Building Surveyors are:

• Based on conditions observed at the time of inspection

• Valid only for the scope and purpose stated in the report

• Subject to regulatory changes or site modifications

 
 7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Part 6 Building Surveyors is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss or damage

• Loss resulting from misuse of reports or advice

• Non-compliance due to unauthorised alterations or works

Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided.
